Your personal information
Privacy policy
Last updated: Oct 8, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Votre Denturo collects about you, why, who can see it, where it is kept, and how you can review it or have it corrected.
It covers everything we do with your information: this site, our phone calls, our forms (on this site and in our Facebook and Instagram ads), your appointments and our reminders. It follows Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
The person in charge
Hans Hupfer, owner of Votre Denturo, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question or request, write to hansvotredenturo@gmail.com or call 514 465-1125.
What we collect
We only collect what we need. Depending on how you reach us:
- By phone: your number, the date, time and length of the call, the line you called and the person who answered. A call may be recorded: you are told at the start of the call, by a message or by the person you are speaking with. A message left on the voicemail is recorded.
- Through a form, on this site or in a Facebook or Instagram ad: your name, phone number, email, city and preferred language, as well as your answers to the form's questions (for example whether you wear a denture, whether you feel pain or discomfort, and what your coverage is).
- When you speak with us: to guide you properly, we note what you tell us about your need (the type of denture, teeth to be extracted, the denture you wear), your coverage (CDCP, private insurance), your situation when it determines whether you qualify for the CDCP (income bracket, social assistance, age), your availability and how you get around (car, reduced mobility).
- In your file with us: your contact details (your address and postal code help us suggest the nearest clinic), your date of birth (it gives us your age), your sex (the denturists' regulation requires it in your file; we ask for it at the consultation, never on the first call), your appointments, the history of our exchanges, the proposed treatment plan, the planned amounts and the payments received.
- By text message and email: a record of the messages we send you and of your choice to stop receiving them.
- When you visit this site: your IP address and the page requested (see “The site and cookies”).
Our tracking tool is administrative. It is not your clinical record: your denturist's clinical notes are not kept in it, they stay in the clinic's file.
What we use it for
- To answer you, call you back and guide you to the right service and the right clinic.
- To see with you where you stand with the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). What we tell you is only a guide: only the authority in charge of the plan decides.
- To book, confirm and remind you of your appointments.
- To prepare your treatment plan and follow its payments.
- To improve the quality of our services, for example by counting our calls and requests.
- To comply with the law.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you. We do not sell or rent it.
Our messages and your consent
- Appointment reminders: the day before, we may write to you by text message or email. These messages contain no advertising. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts: we will then call you instead.
- Information and promotions: we only send them with your consent, given expressly or, where Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation allows it, implied (for example within six months of an inquiry). Every message says who sends it and how to stop receiving it.
You can withdraw your consent at any time: reply STOP, call us at 514 465-1125 or write to the person in charge. We apply it as soon as possible, and within 10 business days at the latest. Declining our promotions does not stop your appointment reminders.
Who can see it
Votre Denturo employees (reception, management, denturists) only see what they need for their work, according to their role. A denturist sees their own appointments.
We also use service providers:
- Supabase: the database and the call recordings.
- Vercel: the hosting of our application and of this site, on a server in Montréal.
- Twilio: calls and text messages.
- Google: email, and the copy of your appointments in your denturist's calendar (only your last name, the clinic, the reason as a code and a link to our application).
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): if you fill in a form in one of our ads, Meta keeps its own copy of your answers, under its own policy; we retrieve those answers to reach you.
We only disclose your information to an authority when the law requires it.
Where it is kept
Your information and the recordings of your calls are kept in Canada, in Montréal, and our application runs on a Vercel server in Montréal. Three services pass through outside Canada:
- Twilio routes calls and text messages through its infrastructure, in the United States, but it does not keep the recordings: we copy each recording to our own storage, then delete it from Twilio. Twilio only keeps the technical trace of calls and texts (numbers, dates and lengths), under its own policy.
- Google: the emails we send (your name, the date and the clinic of an appointment) stay in the sent folder of our account, and the copy of an appointment (your last name, the clinic and the reason as a code) is in your denturist's calendar. If you ask for erasure, we remove that copy from the calendar.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) keeps the copy of the forms you fill in through our ads, under its own policy, which we do not control. To erase that copy, contact Meta as well.
How long we keep it
- Recordings of calls and voicemail messages are destroyed one year after the call.
- Your file is archived after 5 years without contact with us. 3 years later, we remove everything that identifies you: name, contact details and notes.
- You can ask us to erase your information sooner: see “Your rights”.
How we protect it
- Each employee has their own account, protected by a password, and sees only what their role requires.
- Exchanges with our systems are encrypted (HTTPS), and recordings are encrypted where they are kept.
- Every change to a file is recorded: who, when and what.
- In the event of a confidentiality incident that presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
No system is free of all risk, but we take these measures seriously.
The site and cookies
- The pages of this site set no cookies and use no Google Analytics, advertising pixel or remarketing tool. Only the area reserved for our employees uses a cookie, to keep their session open.
- While you fill in the appointment form, your answers stay in your browser, in the open tab. They are erased when you close it.
- As with any site, our host receives your IP address and the page requested in order to deliver the site and protect it.
Your rights
You have the right:
- to know what information we hold about you and to obtain a copy of it, in a structured, commonly used format;
- to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
- to withdraw your consent;
- to ask us to erase what identifies you;
- to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
If you ask for erasure, we erase your name, numbers, email, address, date of birth, sex, notes and the content of your texts, and we destroy the recordings of your calls the following night. All that remains are figures that can no longer be linked to you: the number of calls, appointments, payment amounts and dates. An upcoming appointment must be cancelled first. The clinical record kept by your denturist is not in our tracking tool: it follows the rules of the Ordre des denturologistes du Québec.
To exercise a right, write to the person in charge (hansvotredenturo@gmail.com) or call 514 465-1125. We reply within 30 days. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm your identity.
Children under 14
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about a child under 14 without the consent of their parent or guardian. If you think a child has given us some, write to the person in charge: we will remove what identifies them.
Links to other sites
This site links to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps. These services have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as needed. The date at the top of the page shows the last update, and a significant change is announced on this page.
